Aria Evans is an award winning (Afro-Indigenous, settler) Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist working in dance; creation, performance and film/photography. Aria is Artistic Director of Political Movement where collaboration is the departure point to the work that she creates. Her choreography has been presented on Turtle Island and abroad and she has toured, performed and collaborated with a number of the nations leading arts institutions, organizations and independent artists. We are in the 'Dish with One Spoon' territory - a treaty between these nations reflecting a commitment to share the territory and protect the land.
