Moving Connections:

All are invited to dance with us!

Dance with us through this time of physical distancing! Let's keep building community, share stories, and keep in-touch.

We invite you to send us a physical gesture reflecting on:

What does connection mean to you at this time?

Stay connected and send us your love in a gesture.

Your 3-5 second video can be filmed on your cell phone, camera, webcam, etc.

You can do this sitting, standing, laying down, with any or all of your body, super minimal or super large.

ALL  videos will then be edited together into one inter-connected piece and shared widely.

Don’t miss this chance to contribute a gesture and virtually dance alongside strangers and maybe even some familiar faces around the world.

Deadline:  April 6, 2020.

See the below video for a few gesture samples:

  • Send us a video!

  • 3-5 seconds in length

  • You can shoot the video on any device

  • Send via WeTransfer ( to Beata at

  • Deadline: Monday, April 6, 2020

  • Final compiled video will be shared with you within a few weeks on our Facebook page

  • In addition to your gesture, we welcome an additional video or writing with a few quick lines about the inspiration, memory, emotion, or feeling behind the gesture - only if you wish!

Dance with us across the vast distances that separate us!

We can’t wait to receive your beautiful gestures and connect with you all.

With love and gratitude,

Artists Project

Kaeja d’Dance would like to acknowledge that we are situated upon traditional territories. Our artists, collaborators, staff and team are grateful to be creating art on this land that has been nurtured by recorded and unrecorded human activity for by thousands of years. We honour and respect the traditional lands and waterways of the Wendat, Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and the Métis Nation. We are in the 'Dish with One Spoon' territory - a treaty between these nations reflecting a commitment to share the territory and protect the land. We also recognize the enduring presence of diverse Indigenous peoples on this land.
